On February 27th, Saudi time, Murad, Vice President of Saudi Aramco, conducted an inspection of the King Harbor project. He highly praised the recent achievements in performance by the project department and solemnly commended employees who made outstanding contributions during the execution of the project. Alahmari, CEO of International Maritime Industries (IMI), participated in the inspection together.
During the inspection, Mr. Murad praised the project department for achieving multiple milestones and emphasized the need for stronger collaboration between the owner and the project construction team to ensure successful completion of future obligations. Following this, the owner presented certificates of honor to outstanding Chinese and international employees involved in the handover process and celebrated the project's achievements with department staff, enhancing team cohesion through the sharing of cakes and drinks.
Since the beginning of this year, the project department has closely monitored key milestones and consistently accelerated the contract fulfillment, successfully completing over ten key milestones including D303, D418, D301, C107, and C201. Furthermore, D310-1 and C416 have fulfilled PMCC requirements, while construction on D310-2, D408, C302-10, and G403 is now over 99% complete. The project handover is being expedited. The project department will continue to uphold the spirit of the group and company's acceleration mobilization meeting, leading and uniting all departments and units to optimize resource allocation and fully commit to enhancing project performance.
