Zhou Tiejun Paid a Visit to Wail A. Al Jaafari, Executive Vice President of Saudi Aramco

On July 1st, Zhou Tiejun, Party Secretary and Chairman of the Board, met with Wail A. Al Jaafari, Executive Vice President of Saudi Aramco. They reviewed their decade-long collaboration and discussed the operation, maintenance, and future expansion plans of the King Harbor project in depth. Wang Yuanhui, Deputy Party Secretary and General Manager, and Xu Dengfeng, Deputy General Manager, attended the meeting together.


Jaafari highly praised the ongoing performance of the King Harbor project and expressed his appreciation for the efforts of the project team led by the company's key leaders. He emphasized the critical importance of ensuring the safety and well-being of workers during the construction of the King Harbor project in summer, and urged the company to implement effective measures for heatstroke prevention and cooling. Jaafari congratulated SEPCO on the execution of the Phase III of MGS project. He highly commended the company's outstanding fulfillment capacities in the Phase I and Phase II of MGS projects, and expressed his hope that the company would assign a well-experienced team to promote the project at all stages based on adhering the contractual timelines strictly.

Zhou Tiejun expressed deep appreciation for the continuous trust and support that Saudi Aramco has provided to SEPCO Electric Power Construction Corporation. Hestated that,with extensive experienceaccumulated from Aramco projects, SEPCO Electric Power Construction Corporation is both capableofand confident in delivering high-quality performance for the King Harbor project and other ongoing Aramco projects as scheduled. He also expressed a desire to strengthen mutual trust and friendship, expand cooperation, address challenges encounteredjointlyduring project execution, and achieve mutual benefits in improving the projects' high-quality performance.

Senior executives from Saudi Aramco, heads of POWERCHINA International Group Limited, and leaders from both parties involved in the King Harbor project were engaged in discussions.
